Um. Done School. Getting ridiculously close to 13th Annual Director's Festival. Hoorray for getting to act again. It's going very well.

Slowly going through all my feedback on the individual chapters I wrote for my historical fiction novel 'Courting Owney'... will potentially post them, or maybe just a snippet.

Also trying to get back into writing just for fun, as exemplified by today's deviation submission.

Also ridiculously close to vacation time. May 5th 7pm I leave for Rome, May 8th I get on the cruise ship and sail around Italy & hit two cities in Croatia. Home on the 22nd. Photos shall hopefully be abundant. Perhaps writing & drawing as well.

10-4 Good Buddy. over & out.

tells me that she loves me... the girl with golden eyes...

Okay. So. Macbeth went pretty good. By the middle of the run, the 3 witches had pretty much figured out how to do their makeup on their own, which was a saving grace. Of course, we had to help them with the hard to reach places.. and i learned a lot. I would definately do makeup again. In fact, I bought the ingredients that we used for the burns for a potential zombification if I do Vancouver's 2008 Zombie Walk in August. We'll see.

It was a good time. Put up a few pictures, pretty much just of Katie's Arm Shoulder Back burn (because i like to Arm Shoulder Back It Up). That was my baby. Every show I would do it. Good times.

Learned that I hate cream makeup now. As colourful as it is, it's tough to get out of fingernails, cuticles, and clothes. Just a mess in general. I still love fake blood.

The first 5 chapters of my novel and the rewrite of chapter one went really well for my Historical Fiction class. I've gotten into the use of dialogue a lot more, possibly because each line of dialogue is a new line.. therefore... a person says five things, and the person they're talking to replies five times... that's like half a page. hee hee.

My one act play... I am struggling with. Playwriting is a lot harder than I expected it to be. Prof loved my first draft, which I wrote late the night before it was due while high on cold & flu drugs (long story, in short- i had to start a whole new play because the one i had been working on turned out not what i wanted it to be). So.. I never really knew what I wrote, but he loved the draft, and the second draft... still needs work. We'll see. I have no idea where it's going. It has to be done for friday though.

I'm going on another Eurovacation in may. Mum and I are taking the cruise that we wanted to do after dad passed away. We see Italy & Croatia.

Im poor.

Im cast in a dfest show- A Glass Darkly.

Just close your eyes, that blue is getting me high

..making me low.

Hum. Well.

Finished my credits for my Theatre Diploma, I'm currently just finishing out the year and will be gradding in summer. I am taking two creative writing courses: Playwriting and Historical Fiction. For the Historical Fiction class I am writing a novel based on a New York gang leader in 1914. So far, it's not bad. I've done better, but it's not bad. Playwriting... is okay. I figured I'd have an insiders knowledge being that I've read umpteen scripts, but I'm actually finding it hard--perhaps because I am an actor?

I am also working backstage (once again, argh!) on this season's Shakespeare show- Macbeth. Ahhh yes, the Scottish Play. The Play that shalt not be named! It's a contemporary, trimmed piece, and we open on Friday. I'm assisting with hair and makeup; basically, I cover people in burns & blood. It's pretty great so far. I'll probably put up pictures of my makeup expertice later (although the actresses themselves are getting pretty damn good at doing the burns alone).

I'm wary of, as always, putting my writing up... because it is a lot easier to rip off than a drawing (who would want to rip my drawings off, I'm not sure) or a photograph. I'll put some stuff up, though... to make it look like I actually do something around here.

Anything new? I don't know.

I saw Marilyn Manson in concert a few weeks ago, and in October I saw Rob Zombie again who was opening for Ozzy Osbourne. That was.... spectacular. A wet dream come true. Now... I have to see Disturbed, ICP and Rammstein in concert... then I shall be fulfilled.

I'm also currently working on (in addition to my novel) a one act play.

Is that your hand?

So; didn't produce nor put up a lot of things from my drawing course. I did get an A+ in that class though. Didn't do a lot of small stuff... and taking photos, as i did with Rammie McRamington, is just too much for me remember.

Been experimenting some with facial espressions, different poses, etc. Trying to develop a new style, but it all turns out the same. Maybe I'll upload some stuff, we'll find out later.

I'm super enjoying watching all you guys add new stuff and develop new ideas and skills. Kudos friends.

In my second year of college now, boy how time flies.

Taking an art class, Intro to Drawing, if you will. [actually tomorrow is my last class, semester ends woo]

It's going quite well. WEnt quite well. I dont think i leanred anything, but i think i did improve for sure. I thought it would be more technical... but it wasn't. I hope to be able to get some stuff up but we used large sketch pads, so they will be hard to scan.. maybe i'll take some digital photos.

Hope everyone is ready for the holidays, im not.
